Even if I've been recruited against my will for an army, life here isn't so bad. There are people from so many worlds here that I don't need to take great care in hiding what I am. In fact, there are people from versions of my world.

Though I've aspired to become human again, part of me wonders if that was to be free from Dante. Now that I am free of her, I've achieved a sense of inner peace that I've never known before. Any schemes I participate in will be entirely of my own doing. Anyone I sleep with will be entirely of my own choice, and not to achieve Dante's goals. For the first time, I'm truly free.

The only thing really dampening my mood is missing Gluttony. He was always by my side - a loyal friend, and never wanting anything more than my friendship. I wish he was here, though I've met friends and I'm not lonely.

I've decided that I don't particularly care if I'm the one who personally gets to kill Dante, if she ever shows up. However, I insist upon helping. At the very least, I've earned the right to inflict a non-lethal wound before someone else finishes her.

First things first, though, we need to figure out how to take these cuffs off. So I have a proposition - perhaps whoever figures that out gets to kill Dante?
